Verified accounts
Reviews can only be written from a signed-in account. New accounts confirm their email address (or sign in with Google), and disposable email addresses are rejected.

One review per provider
Each account can review a company once, and the number of reviews an account can post in a short period is limited.

Automated fraud screening
Every submission is checked for risk signals such as high-risk IP addresses, VPNs, proxies and Tor. Clear spam is rejected and borderline reviews are held back.

Moderation
Held reviews are checked by our team before they are published. Providers can reply publicly to reviews on their profile.
How rankings work
Category pages, top 10 lists and plan search results are ordered by a single score. Here is what goes into it, in plain terms.
Some links to providers are referral links, which may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Promotion does not change review content or star ratings.

Weighted review score
The average star rating, adjusted for how many reviews a provider has. A company with only a handful of reviews is pulled towards the site-wide average, so a few ratings cannot outrank a long, consistent track record.

Listing completeness
The number of hosting plans, coupons and awards on the listing, each capped so they cannot be inflated, and whether a referral link for the provider is on file.

Paid promotion
Providers on a paid listing plan (Business, Enterprise or Crypto) receive a ranking boost. Their cards are clearly labelled Promoted.
